Returns
Christmas gift exceptions to return time frame: Gift items purchased during November and December will have an extended time period for returns. If we are notified by December 29 of your desire to return a gift (following our regular guidelines), we will honor your request. The item must meet all other criteria listed in our return policy below. Please note that clearance, sale, holiday theme, or discontinued items are not returnable. This extension does not apply to defective or incorrect merchandise - we must still be notified within 3 days of receipt, so please inspect your order.
Defective or incorrect merchandise. We guarantee that your items will be as described. If you notify us by email (form below) of defective or incorrect merchandise within 3 days of receipt, we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost to you.
Change of mind or size issues. Please read the item descriptions and measurements carefully before you buy. If you have questions, email us - you will get a prompt reply within minutes or hours at the most!
We will accept returns with prior authorization only. Most returns receive store credit in the form of a credit certificate number that will be emailed to you and can be used towards another purchase from our store. If you prefer a refund, we will deduct 20% from the item price for a restocking fee and return the balance to your credit card.
Frankly, returns are challenging for retailers, and we try to provide as much information as possible in our descriptions in order to avoid returns. We believe that most people are honest and considerate. Unfortunately, it is due to the minoriry of people who are NOT honest and considerate that we have been forced to implement specific return guidelines and policies. We have been dismayed to receive merchandise back with unpleasant odors, pet hair, missing tags or parts missing. We can not resell these items, so we must pass our loss back to the returnee by reducing the credit or refund amount.
Please read the the following guidelines:
- You must obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) prior to return by contacting us within 10 days of receipt of your merchandise.
- The item must be returned within 10 days of RMA issue. The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the package. Packages without a return authorization may be refused, or charged a 20% restocking fee if package is accepted.
- The item must be in original, saleable condition, with original packaging and any original tags intact and attached.
- Apparel and/or fabric merchandise must be free scent or odors such as cigarette smoke or perfume. They must be free of pet hair, and spot-free. Otherwise we can not consider it as new. Pajama bottoms are NOT returnable, nor is fabric sold by the yard.
- If the merchandise is not received in original condition, your return credit may be reduced by from 50% to 100%.
- Shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Sale, clearance, and holiday theme merchandise is not returnable.
In any case, please contact us in advance (by filling out the form below) of your desire to return an item and to obtain a Return Authorization Number.
